Update 2010 - January 22, 2010
We are looking forward to 2010 and the opportunities to sing and share that God gives us. In 2009 Ron Baker began singing bass for us full time and nothing has changed for 2010. He, along with, Luke McGarrh-tenor, Wayne Hollie-Baritone, Greg Clark-lead, make up Call To Worship. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Jerry Sowards, whom many of you know, will be joining us for awhile to sing bass. We are glad to have him and if we think he is good enough, and can handle the part, we might try to keep him.
Goodbye Bo - October 1, 2008
Our wonderful bass singer Harold "Bo" Bohannon is leaving Call To Worship. Bo has been with the group since its begining 10 or 11 years ago. His smooth voice, warm presence, and most of all, love for Christ will be missed. He is leaving the group because he has moved to east Tennessee. Thanks Bo for your years of singing.
First concert back - September 29, 2008
September 28, 2008 was our first concert after Wayne's by-pass surgery. Wayne is all healed and did a great job, as did the whole group. It was good to get to sing again.
Wayne update - August 7, 2008
Many of you have heard that Wayne -our baritone-had triple by-pass surgery, which he did a month ago. We just wanted to let you know that he is doing fine and recovering well. He and Call to Worship want to thank you for your prayers and concern. Please continue to pray for Wayne's recovery. We hope to be able to start singing again by September.
Welcome - March 9, 2007
We want to welcome a new member to our group - well actually he has been singing with us on a part-time basis for a while. Luke McGarrh has joined us permanantly as our tenor. Luke has been singing with us taking Wayne's spot singing baritone when Wayne could not be with us. Luke has been singing since his high school days - when Wayne was his high school choir director - and has directed music at several area churches. By the way if you are wondering yes that makes Wayne pretty old if he taught Luke as a teenager. Anyway we want to welcome Luke and know you will enjoy his addition to the group.
Good Bye - March 9, 2007
At the end of the year we said good bye to one of our members, Wendell Jewell. Wendell will be joining his son, Trey Jewell, a up and coming country star, as one of his backup singers. We wish Wendell and Trey all the best.

A Full September - August 31, 2005
Looks like Call to Worship Quartet is going to be busy in September with several concerts already booked and some still in the working out the details stage. The month begins about mid way through with a stop at Magnolia Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Our next concert is the next Sunday evening at First Baptist Church, Marion, Arkansas.
Then we begin October 1 with a concert with Carl Crain and a bunch of other quartets from around the Memphis area. The next Saturday, October 8, we are at The Gathering Place in Saulsbury, Tennessee. If you don't know where that is, it is about 11 miles past Grand Junction on Highway 57. The building that is used for The Gathering Place is the old Saulsbury Elementary School. When I was a very young boy I actually attended classes there with several of my cousins who lived in Saulsbury at the time.
We hope to see you at one or all of our concerts. Come and bring a friend because we know that you will have a great time as we lift up the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. See you there.
